Andrew Dustman | Owner and CEO
Andrew is an ATP qualified pilot with over 3,000 hours of total experience under his belt. He is a CFI, CFII and MEI qualified flight instructor. For six years Andrew flew a Lear Jet for air medical and Executive charter, serving 3 years as a First officer and 3 years as Captain. Andrew became passionate about aviation at a young age and achieved his PPL while earning his Bachelor of Science in Econ Finance at the University of Kentucky. He has remained immersed in the aviation culture through his own personal flying and his continual interest in the cutting edge technology available for pilots today. Andrew is excited to bring said technology to the Central Illinois area and is optimistic about the numerous opportunities that Synergy will provide to the community’s pilots.
Rich Anderson | Director of Operations
Rich brings a broad base of aviation knowledge to Synergy Flight Center. His passion for flying was kindled by attending the annual EAA fly-ins from a young age and has continued throughout his life, including experience as a skydiving jumpmaster. Rich also has an extensive background working with flight simulators- including developing his own models. Currently Rich is working towards attaining his private pilot license. With significant expertise in fueling, ramp operations, security, customer service and air charter dispatch, he rounds out the Synergy team with his diversity of experience.
Dan Amolsch | Certified Flight Instructor
Dan is a university trained CFI who graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1998 with a Bachelors degree in Aviation Management. He is an Instrument rated Commercial Pilot, and Flight Instructor. In addition to aviation, Dan has worked as a business analyst and recently completed a master’s degree. As a Synergy Flight Instructor Dan stands ready to serve as an ambassador to aviation. He brings the manner and philosophy of a coach and mentor that we seek to provide our students in the process of learning to fly.
