Synergy is searching for a growth oriented, self-starter A&P mechanic to integrate into its 145 repair station staff. A&P mechanics are responsible for inspecting, servicing and repairing aircraft to keep them operating safely. All mechanics are required to conduct operations under FAA regulations and Synergy’s 145 repair station policies. Synergy’s A&P mechanics will be exposed to a wide variety of aircraft including piston, turboprop and turbine engines.
Preventative maintenance and repairs
Routine and Phase Inspections
Correcting discrepancies and pilot reported squawks
Maintain knowledge and compliance with FAA regulations and 145 Certification
Work effectively and safely
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Superior time management
Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (required)
Inspection Authorization (preferred)
Minimum High school diploma, technical training or secondary education (preferred)
Two or more years of related experience.
Experience with Part 135 aircraft desired
Avionics experience (preferred)
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Email
Excellent verbal and written communication
Multi-tasking and decision making
Maintaining excellent customer and employee relations
Must be able to pass a background check and initial and periodic drug and alcohol test.
