    FULL AND PART-TIME FLIGHT INSTRUCTORS for busy part 61 flight school in Bloomington, IL (KBMI).
    Synergy Flight Center is a full-service FBO with a fast growing flight school offering traditional part-time and full-time fixed-cost flight training programs flying the C172S NAVIII (G1000).

    Duties Include;
    • Primary flight instruction for Private Pilot and Instrument Rating (if CFII).
    • Ground school instruction.
    • Student and aircraft schedule management.
    • Facilitation of Full-time and Part-time flight training.
    • Proctoring FAA Written Exams.
    • Promotion of flight school and new student intake including Discovery Flights and flight school tours.

    Synergy Flight Center is looking for an experienced Aircraft Parts Manager to lead our growing parts inventory department. This person should be capable of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment and have the leadership skills to develop and implement new systems to better distribute parts to our employees and customers. This position also works closely with mechanics and numerous vendors and customers. Applicants that have an A&P certificate could also assist in working on aircraft in our shop. Responsibilities include oversight, assistance with and/or completion of the following duties:
    • Shipping and receiving
    • Inventory stocking/tracking
    • Leadership of annual inventory count
    • Administration of warranty, cores, other administrative tasks.
    • Aircraft parts and supplies purchasing
    • Walk in aircraft parts sales
    • Tool calibration oversight and management
    • Assist mechanics as needed Skills/Requirements
    • A&P aircraft mechanic preferred
    • Experience preferred but will train an otherwise ideal candidate

    Job Description

    Synergy is searching for a growth oriented, self-starter A&P mechanic to integrate into its 145 repair station staff. A&P mechanics are responsible for inspecting, servicing and repairing aircraft to keep them operating safely. All mechanics are required to conduct operations under FAA regulations and Synergy’s 145 repair station policies. Synergy’s A&P mechanics will be exposed to a wide variety of aircraft including piston, turboprop and turbine engines.

    Job Description

    Synergy Flight Center is seeking qualified applicants for a Cirrus Training Center Director of Flight Training. The ideal applicant will be self motivate, exhibit a professional presentation, and work well as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of word and excel office applications.

    The Director of flight training oversees the daily operation of the flight school, sets the tone and vision for the overall direction of the flight school, and continually strives to innovate and enhance flight training at Synergy Flight Center.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Commercial Pilot Certificate.
    FAA Certificated Flight Instructor-Airplane and Instrument (CFII).
    Second Class Medical Certificate.
    200 hours as flight instructor.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Bachelor's Degree.
    Previous Experience administrating flight training programs.
    Multi-Engine Instructor.
    Previous experience training in Cirrus aircraft.
    Certified Cirrus Instructor Pilot or Cirrus Training Pilot status.

    Provide individual flight instruction to students enrolled in Cirrus Flight Training courses, including preflight/post flight inspection and evaluation as well as maintenance of training records of assigned students.
    Conduct company stage and graduation check flights as needed.
    Serve as Supervisor of Flight School Operations, including night and weekend operations.
    Function as a Team Leader including the coordination of Cirrus Flight Instructors.
    Develop and oversee the course of training for Cirrus Training Center.
    Manage scheduling of students and instructors.
    Oversee PSI/CATS knowledge testing center.
