Part-Time

Located in Bloomington, IL (BMI), Synergy Flight Center is a full-service aviation fixed based operator (FBO) specializing in aircraft charter, aircraft rental, aircraft maintenance, aircraft management, aircraft sales and flight training.

This Part-Time Customer Service Representative (CSR) position is based at our Bloomington, IL location.

In addition to providing 7-Star level service to all guests, candidates will be responsible for various concierge services, such as, making hotel, car and meal reservations if requested. Further, candidates will be responsible for learning and understanding all aspects of Synergy Flight Center in order to educate guests on all our services and fielding any questions. Candidates will be expected to field and direct all phone calls, messages, emails, and radio communications. Finally, candidates will be responsible for the overall comfort and satisfaction of our guests while on the premises.

Candidates should have basic office skills such as familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications, document creation, email, and Internet skills. In addition, candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, time-management and organizational skills and be detail oriented. An outgoing and friendly demeanor is crucial to this position and professionalism is always expected.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Delivering a proactive, personalize service experience to Private and Corporate Aviation clientele (including but not limited to crew members and passengers).

  • Coordinating aircraft services, such as fuel and hangar storage.

  • Arranging services including hotel, catering, and ground transportation.

  • Effectively communicating via air-to-ground radio and ground-to-ground radio, multi-line phone system, and email.

  • Completing pre-arrival information for customers.

  • Process sales transactions, customer invoices, fuel tickets, etc.

  • Educating customers on available services, promotions, and programs.

  • Establish long-term, trusted relationships by delivering highest level of personalized service.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays, as well as Overtime, as needed.

  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Required; Associates Degree preferred.

  • Previous FBO experience is preferred.

  • Previous Customer Service experience is required (minimum 1 year).

  • Hotel/hospitality experience is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Internet and Email.

  • Resume and at least 3 Professional References required.

  • Successful completion and passing of Background Check/Drug screen in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
